If you're a fan of Sonia Rykiel, like I am, hurry up and get thee to an H&M(as fast as you can). The collabo dropped today. My friends and I lined up for it and I have to say I was so thrilled! It was so worth it! Sonia is the queen of sweaters and the slouchy relaxed fit. The designs are classic sonia! The cuts are spot-on and flattering, everything is running kind of big(which i personally prefer! love the baggy-ness) and the fabrics feel great, in a word: amazing. I can't believe they could make such great clothes at such an affordable price. It really makes me wonder why Target collaborations all come out so bad. :-( They get great designers but the cuts and fabrics are so all-over the place and very low-quality. As my stylist friend said, "that's the difference between an American retailer and an European retailer"....but I digress. Seriously, the Sonia/H&M collabo is beautiful...if you're a fan you need to get something for yourself.

stranger and stranger....

I don't mind people posting my work without crediting me.....i post pictures on this blog and i don't always credit the images...for photos and other images i just assume people will know whats me and whats not me.

but words, my words, are personal in a way that a drawing is not....they are more closely attached to my heart in that it is a much more direct expression of my state of mind. its strange to find some of my thoughts posted on others' personal blogs in a way that makes it seem it is that person's own words....more than the unpleasantness of having someone take credit for something that is not theirs...its seeing someone wearing my emotions and thoughts as if it were their own....

its a slight difference....

on my mind

I haven't been posting lately...cause i felt like i didn't have anything "blog-worthy", entertaining or new....but a blog is also kind of public notebook...so i'm just going to list what's on my mind.

grizzly bear, the knife, chanel collection, candy colored hair, my hair and my inch long roots, books, war and peace, classics, mostly, work...losing my giraffe heart and realizing it, deciding to find it again.

mid to late twenties fluctuating between being too selfish/american or too asian/too reserved
its my own personal jekyll and hyde story.

good advice from Oprah: if someone is not putting as much as you are into a relationship ask for more or pull back or else you will feel resentful and bitter

multiple headaches in past two weeks: i need new glasses?? yeah?!

march=two weddings and east coast trip, nyc(its been a while!), haven't purchased tickets but planning outfits already....which are already changing.

determined to stock up on valentines' chocolates...i like the packaging better. :-)
