Bronze Gems by Physicians Formula.

Pretty packaging and an endorsement by Dick Page in Teen Vogue was enough for me to swoop down on this little bronzer from Physicians Formula. It's from the Bronze Gems series and its full name is a mouthful: Matte and Bright Bronzer, Highlighter and Eye Shadow. Not only is it eye-catching but as you may have guessed from its name it comes in handy for many different purposes. The gems at the side can be used separately as eye shadows and highlighters or mixed with the bronzer for an all-over shimmery shine. You can also use the bronzer alone for a matte finish. The Bronze Gems come in four different colors from light to dark: Light Bronzer, Peach Glow Bronzer, Healthy Glow Bronzer and Bronzer. I chose the Healthy Glow Bronzer because I thought it had the prettiest color combination. I wore it over my foundation and it added a very light and subtle shimmer and just a hint of color to even out my skin. I would recommend this product for people who like a natural look. If you are looking for dramatic results you might need to look somewhere else.

Cetaphil is filled with good stuff!

I like having a skin care routine. I love to moisturize, tone, pat, and take care of my problem spots. In the mornings I'm motivated to prepare my face for a long day and at night it helps me unwind. But sometimes circumstances come between me and my skincare rituals: camping, traveling, sharing a room with my grandmother, etc. In times like that I have a secret weapon: Cetaphil. Although I use it mostly as a pinch-hitter, it's impressive enough to make me want to switch over to it fulltime.

Cetaphil is "non-alkaline, non-comedogenic and fragrance-free" which means its gentle enough for my sensitive skin and good for it, too. All I have to do is rub a small amount on my dry face, wipe it off with cotton and leave a thin layer as a moisturizer. It's a cleanser and moisturizer in one bottle, you can use it with or without water and it's dermatologist approved. Everyone should have a bottle in their bathroom drawer.

I'm always looking for new ways to stay moisturized in L.A.'s dry climate. I found this body oil, Anfora Rosa Body Oil, at Walgreen's the other day on sale for $2.99. I couldn't pass up the cute packaging and low price. I'm not usually a huge fan of body oils as they usually leave me with a greasy feeling, however, this Spanish brand's version has a light feel and fresh rose fragrance.

The directions say to apply it to damp skin, leave on for a few minutes and pat dry. I had never tried using it this way before but now I'm convinced it's THE best way to apply body oil. I found that applying it on damp skin is good in two ways: the water on your skin helps spread the oil evenly across your skin and the oil seals in the water as moisture.

Although the price is petite the pampered feeling you get from it is grande.
