So I totally scraped the leather on one side of my new shoes yesterday. That's what I get for wearing them around like sneakers. I'm trying not to get totally bummed about it especially now that I have decided that they are my most favorite shoes ever.

esther! i have to give you and daniel your christmas presents. and how sad about your shoes :[ i ruined my penny loafers like that and i wear them a lot now because they're kinda messed up.

Consider little bumps, scrapes and bruises on well-loved things to be a symbol of your enjoyment of them!
